A few turns. A secure fit.
Make quick, precise adjustments with the E1’s dial closure. No traditional laces to tie before you get moving.
Hard floors. Softer steps.
Hollow cushioning units run through the midsole, compressing under load and springing back, so the floor takes the impact instead of your next step.
Heat gets out, not trapped in.
Open woven panels across the forefoot and instep let air move through the upper, so your feet aren't sitting in the heat they made four hours ago.
Tested at 200 joules.
Roughly the force of a 20kg load dropped from a metre. That's the standard, and the E1 meets it.
Nothing gets through the middle.
A flexible layer across the whole footprint, between your foot and whatever is left on the floor at the end of a job.
Grip where it's wet.
Tread cut to shed what it picks up, tested on the smooth wet surfaces where most slips at work actually happen.

Boots are only half the fit
Crew socks cut to sit above the collar of the E1, with cushioning under the heel and forefoot where a rigid sole gives the least.

Nobody wants them in the footwell
A ventilated boot bag for the journey home. Mesh panels down both sides so boots dry out overnight instead of sealing in the damp, and a full-length zip that opens wide enough to drop a pair straight in.
